My Resume and Perspective to Book Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind: Yuval Noah Harari

Human nature play kind of like main role currently in this world even tough we only here less than a million years but we change so many things in this world for the better or for the worst in my perspective mostly we do a lot of bad things to mother earth because of human so many animals go extinct in the name of meeting the demand and scarcity, humans tend to think that we are better than other species and we are like the best produce of evolution based on what I read from this book is what makes human can achieve everything as a species is because we have our ways of communication, language we do work in a group we have “things” that unite us together currently that things is money despite everything we live in capitalist society and money quite unite us people get separated all the time because race, religion, country, ideology and etc but we all always can come together and work as a team as long as we have money.Human nature role in societal and individual development play a big system also most of the time  a baby or children develop to build to fit into society or societal norms and value.

Why did Homo sapiens suddenly flood the planet when our ancestors didn’t do so after millions of years? Harari attributes it to our language–we’re the only species that can imagine and communicate about things that don’t exist. An ape may be able to communicate to another ape that there’s a lion by the river, but only a Sapien can imagine and convey that the lion is the guardian spirit of his tribe. This frees us up to invent philosophies, religions, trade networks, and political institutions, without being limited to our genetic evolution or current environment. Our myths and common beliefs—e.g. God, imperial glory, human rights—also allow us to get large numbers of strangers to work together in ways that other species can’t,we elaborate on the vital role of our language/imagined orders in Sapiens’ rise to the top of the food-chain, how our hunter-gatherer lifestyle shaped our biological, psychological and social traits, and why/how Sapiens wrought mass-destruction and extinction to every continent we settled in.

How can we use this knowledge to be better as an individual and larger scale is as an individual we should try to take a better care on earth after so many destruction that mankind cause in very short time compare to other species, understanding so many things that could break us apart such as religions, political institution and try to work on a myth that actually make a positive impact in the world and working as a team to make those “myths” happens  such as human rights, equal rights, etc.
